I am a professional artist.

I live and work in Acheux  en Amienois in the Department of the  Somme in the North of France.

Luministe painter, my paintings are an expression of emotion provided by the sacred meaning of light
Indeed, the observation of the reflections through stained glass windows in religious buildings was the starting point of my artistic research. In this research, was born my 'reflections', 'Orphic inspiration'. They are silent, fragmented, vegetal or wandering a footprint created by the place.
Painting takes me on a path of meditation. Each painting is a step in a spiritual journey that I create in color and light as a celebration of the ineffable.
Shimmering old paving stones painted by shadows and fleeting sunlight appear on my canvas and I tell their stories that I call my "reflexions" (the word in the French language means ‘thoughts”) is the term that refers to the source my inspiration and summarizes the result of my work.
And it is in the churches, chapels and cathedrals of Picardy and elsewhere I see the effects of ephemeral reflections created by light passing through stained glass windows (see website links).

Along with this non-figurative work, I recently resumed work on the observation of light on water and its movement. I entitled this series: "Beyond Reflections on Water” . Another form of meditation directly related to my love of nature. Through my observations of ripples and every changing patterns, my desire is to bring "the wanderer» to stop and meditate on the fleeting aspect of the elements, their simplicity, their rarity and especially their fragility...
